I’m Jo-anne Nicholls, a Brisbane-based Accredited Practicing Dietitian who is deeply passionate about educating people on how to maintain good health through nutritious food.

I provide online nutrition consulting via Telehealth which means you can access nutritional advice from the comfort of your own home, the office or wherever you are in the world. As an experienced Accredited Practicing Dietitian, I am able to provide nutrition advice for treating a wide range of clinical and lifestyle-based conditions and will work with you to create a personalised plan that is tailored to your goals and lifestyle.

Creating a plan that works for you

My approach integrates evidence-based nutrition counselling and a thorough understanding of your health concerns, to help educate and empower you to improve your emotional and physical wellbeing. Whether it be gaining a greater understanding of management of your diabetes, dietary patterns to reduce arthritic symptoms, or nutrition strategies to improve your digestive health, I am here to support you along your health journey.

I am compassionate in my approach, and respectful of your lived experiences and health goals. My focus is on understanding your needs, your body and your lifestyle, and providing a non-judgmental space where I can offer personalised nutrition strategies to support you.

I will take a holistic approach to support you to understand that health is multifaceted, and to assist you in learning how to nourish and appreciate our bodies with a focus on what they can do for us, rather than how they look.

Through my personalised nutrition counselling, I’ll work alongside you to develop an integrated plan to assist you in meeting your health goals.
